So how does ByeDubya work?
ByeDubya.com is a brand new concept from the UK based game design and development team at T-Enterprise. It is designed to give people a forum to say their goodbyes to George W Bush as he prepares to leave the White House after his 8 year stint as President. There is no other website like it out there!
You can simply log on to the website, click through to write your message and then submit it when you have finished writing and drawing your last words to the 43rd President of the United States. It is as simple as that! With great graphics, an easy to use message board and just a few minutes of your time, you can create a masterpiece to send your farewell.
Who can use ByeDubya?
Anybody with access to the Internet can use ByeDubya. There are no restrictions on location, age or background in place at all. Everyone that has access to the site can logon, write his or her message and add it to the giant farewell card that is currently being composed.
As long as you have something to say to Bush, you can let your creative juices run wild and compose the message of your choice. Whether that message is positive or negative is completely up to you.
Can I personalise my message?
You can personalise the message if you so wish or you could just pen a general message using the writing and drawing functionality. You are under no obligation to sign your message at all because you can choose to remain anonymous. It is your message and so your choice.
Does it cost me anything?
ByeDubya.com is a free application that has been designed solely for fun and the topical nature of the subject. As such, it does not cost you a penny to write your message or indeed to submit it. It is completely free.
Do you ask for my details?
No. We do not ask for any details at all for this service. You can come to the site, write your message and submit it without giving details of any kind. You do not even have to give your name and email address. As we retain full control of the content appearing on the site it is not necessary. This will allow you to remain anonymous and you to have peace of mind that your details will not be used in any way, shape or form.
Can I edit my message after I have submitted it?
No. As soon as you have finished the message and hit the submit button you lose the ability to edit what you have written or drawn. Unfortunately there is no way to save your message and return later either.
You will be given a unique URL when you submit your message so you can see your message on its own as well as part of the farewell card on the main site. You will only get one opportunity to write it down or save it because we are not asking for personal details and thus will not be able to email the link to you.
What happens to my message after it has been submitted?
When you submit your message, it goes through to the T-Enterprise design and development team for approval. Providing that there is nothing abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate in your message, it will be approved and will appear on the site. It will then be printed and sent off to Dubya via post as part of a large farewell card to mark the end of his presidency.
When the messages are printed and sent to George W Bush, there will be a video made to mark the whole process. This video will be available at YouTube and will also be embedded on the site so you can see exactly what has happened with your message. The whole process is designed to be fun and this testament to people power the world over will certainly prove to be the icing on the cake!
